Tanvi Sankhe
Canary Wharf Museum

Tanvi Sankhe is a London and Mumbai-based interior architect whose work is rooted in spatial storytelling. Her MA Interior Design at the Royal College of Art led her with a sharp eye for material, movement, and memory, crafting environments that invite people to feel, reflect, and connect.

Her foundation spans residential and commercial interiors, with experience leading projects from concept through execution. From immersive exhibitions to public-engaging architecture, Tanvi’s approach merges practical detail with emotional depth. Before the RCA, she worked with leading studios in Mumbai, India, shaping everything from refined residences to cultural and civic spaces.

At the heart of her practice is a desire to challenge passive spatial experiences. Her recent thesis reimagined 15 Westferry Circus as a Canary Wharf museum - a vertical timeline mapping the site’s industrial legacy, corporate landscape, and speculative futures through sensory design. She treats elements like light, texture, and flow not just as aesthetic tools, but as narrative devices. Her spaces do not shout – they resonate. Thoughtfully composed to linger in memory, long after the moment has passed.
