Aoyun Chen is a designer from China, working and studying mainly in the field of spatial design, interior design and display design. He also interested in graphic design, painting, film and digital art. He finished his bachelor’s degree at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.

He enjoys researching and exploring challenging topics: including but not limited to spatial politics, humanities care, climate crisis and cultural studies, etc. He hopes to endeavour to think out of the box and delve into the interconnections between things in spaces through an interdisciplinary perspective.

The narrative of my film centers on the clash between a public demanding a safe, livable environment free from nuclear risks and a government committed to securing national energy needs and sustainable development. Beneath this direct conflict lies a deeper tension between technological progress and ecological balance—raising the question of whether humanity can achieve true harmony between innovation and nature or if it will always be forced to navigate difficult compromises?
